PATCH FOR FUTURE
Patch for Future (www.patchforfuture.org) is an initiative promoted by Symbola – Foundation for Italian qualities (www.symbola.net) in collaboration with the KIP International School (www.kipschool.org), sponsored by the Ministry of Education, University and Research, inspired by an insight of the Italian-Persian artist Howtan Re. The project also obtained the sponsorship of Expo 2015 and of the Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of Land and Sea. Symbola is a foundation established in 2005 with the aim of promoting a new development model oriented to quality, combining tradition and local heritage, as well as technological innovation, research and design. In a word, soft economy: an economy based on quality, able to blend competitiveness and development of the human capital, economic growth and respect of the environment and human rights, productivity and social cohesion. An economic and social model for Italy to present to the world, taking advantage of what offered by Expo 2015. KIP International School is an independent organisation that encourages collaboration between national, regional and local governments, the United Nations system, multilateral organisations, universities, foundations and other public and private organisations to promote knowledge, innovation, policies, intervention research studies and training in line with the objectives and the values of the United Nations’ Millennium platform.
